Caustic Calcined Magnesite (CCM) or Lightly Calcined Magnesite (LCM) is a highly reactive form of magnesium oxide produced by calcining or burning crude magnesite at relatively low temperatures (>1000°C). Reactive magnesia is also variously known as caustic calcined magnesia, caustic magnesia or CCM. The temperature of firing has a greater influence on reactivity than grind size.
Reactive magnesia is essentially amorphous magnesia with low lattice energy and is made at low temperatures and finely ground.
Low-purity CCM is used in industrial applications such as waste water treatment. High-purity CCM is used in pharmaceuticals, cattle feed supplement, fertilizer, adhesive, Tyre.
Adithya Chemicals is involved in production of Lightly Calcined Magnesium Oxide.
This is a powdered substance used to make cements, fertilizers, insulated electrical
cover and many more products. Molecular formula of this substance is MgO and molar
mass 40.3044 g/mol. Magnesium oxide is widely used in preservation of books and
magazines from moisture. Our range is made using latest formulation technologies to
ensure total compliance of industry specified quality norms.
Our enterprise is involved in manufacturing and supplying of Calcined Magnesite. This chemical is made by sintering raw magnesite in a shaft kiln at temperature level of 700-1000℃ and using oil furnace. The Lightly Calcined Magnesite is highly reactive to extreme temperature and used for grinding wheels, millstones and insulating electrical appliances. Our lightly Calcined Magnesite powder consists of 70 to 90% magnesium oxide. Moreover, this chemical powder is also used in making fertilizers, cements, fireproof electrical boards and paper rolls.
